Experiencing the Google Adwords Professional (GAP) Exam

What Does It Takes To Be Qualified?
Have you ever studied intensively for a subject and subsequently suffered a shock when you first laid eyes on the examination questions? I did. I was preparing for the Google Advertising Professional (GAP) exam. At first I thought it was relatively manageable since the preliminary quizzes posted on the Google AdWords Learning Centre were not terribly tough. So I made the assumption that the exam will be around the same standard. Man…I was so wrong.
Not only were the questions phrased in a very different manner from the quizzes, there were also much trickier than I anticipated. I had Googled “Questions in the GAP exam” and although there was not a lot of information, the general consensus I got from the comments posted online was that Google had increased the difficulty of the questions in 2009 as compared to 2 years ago.
A word of advice from someone who just experienced the new difficulty level. Examinees will have to be quick and accurate with their answers to meet the time constraint (110 minutes). This entails knowing the Google AdWords system inside out. Thus, just memorising the information will no longer likely ensure you getting the passing grade of 75%.
So good luck to those guys taking the GAP exam – see you on the other side.

I failed before but then passed. The learning center quizzes are no where near enough. Practise questions definately helps though. I did http://www.iPassExam.com
