UX Designer
This position is based in Singapore.
Department: Web Development/ UX & Conversion
The User Experience and Conversion team is the force behind gathering user insights, understanding personas and designing inspiring interface to engage users. We live by the mantra "Focus on the user and all else will follow". We indulge in good visual designs and love spreading stories of a great user experience. Collaborating closely with copywriters and Web developers, we create great-looking websites that will deliver a compelling user experience.
Role: Interaction Design
An Interaction Designer is more than just a front-end Visual Designer for the Web. Aesthetics comes after functionality. In clickTRUE, we stress on data-driven design, which requires you to look at user motives and dataset objectively, before working your magic to create inspiring user interfaces. If you're a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong background in CSS/HTML, and an eye for making things better, this job is for you.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize ease-of-use, a consistent look and feel, and a conversion-driven design.
- Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conduct ongoing research of web-based user interface development best practices.
Requirements
- Passion in pursuing the latest design trends (If you love Smashing Magazine and Six Revisions, you should be a good fit!)
- Experience in web design, with specific expertise with web-based applications, email newsletters and web banners.
- Fluency with web standards and technologies, including: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax and Flash.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter
- Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability and intellectual curiosity
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering highly-polished web-based mockups under tight time constraints
Experience
At least 3 years experience in designing web interfaces.
